About Mayo National Roads Design Office

Mayo National Roads Design Office was established in 1999 and has responsibility for the Project Management of National Road Schemes on behalf of Mayo County Council and the National Roads Authority.
The office functions primarily as a design office for the implementation of major new road projects, from conception through planning and design stages to final road construction.
The office also fulfils a planning function through its input into decision making on Planning Applications for developments that have an impact on national routes.
The National Roads Authority provides funding for the functioning of this office.
